Summer Internship Program Overview

Cardinal Health’s Summer Internship Program is a structured 10-12 week experience designed for undergraduate students who will be entering their senior year and are eager to make an impact. As an intern, you’ll work on meaningful, business-critical projects that contribute to real outcomes while gaining exposure to the healthcare industry.

Job Description Summary

Location: Dublin, Ohio

Start Date: May 17 or 24, 2027

Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week for a minimum of 10 weeks

*Assistance with temporary housing is provided for students not local to the internship location.

As a Marketing Intern, you could potentially support the organization in several of the following ways:

  • Develop and create educational and engaging marketing collateral utilizing own skills and/or outside services
  • Conduct brand, marketing and/or competitor analyses to build value propositions for various marketing and product teams
  • Aide in development of marketing strategy for campaigns, customer messaging, and/or product rollouts
  • Support the design and implementation of training tools and product information pertaining to customers and business units for integrated solutions
  • Communicate with internal and external business units
  • Assist with corporate trade shows and exhibit opportunities
  • Other duties upon request

Qualifications

To be considered for the Cardinal Health Summer 2027 Internship Program, candidates should meet a combination of the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, preferred
  • Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028, preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills
  • Participation in extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations
  • Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
