Our attorneys represent clients around the world in trademark-related matters, including intellectual property litigation, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office proceedings, domain name disputes, trademark policing, clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, trade dress, advertising counseling and false advertising litigation, social media and other online branding issues, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement. We have guided a wide range of extraordinary clients through dynamic shifts in technology and the world economy that have profoundly affected strategies for protecting and enforcing brands and content. We represent clients from a variety of industries, and our attorneys are well-versed in both prosecution and adversarial matters.

We are seeking a 2L Summer Associate to join our 6-week program in the second half of summer in Austin, TX. Summer Associates are expected to work in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Hiring Criteria:

  • Class of 2028 J.D. Student
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to the highest quality of client service
  • Law journal experience and GPA in the top quarter of class are strongly preferred.
  • A science background is not required.
  • While not required, if you have a personal connection to Austin or Texas, please also include this information in your cover letter.

The compensation we expect to pay for this position is $3,115.38 per week. This position is not available to any candidates who will now or in the future require a U.S. visa from the firm, such as the H-1B, TN-1, TN-2, or E-3 visa.
