Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth across the U.S. Federal market. Identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities aligned with IDEMIA's strategic objectives and solution portfolio. Build and maintain strong relationships with Federal agencies, industry partners, systems integrators, and key stakeholders. Establish and manage strategic partnerships, teaming agreements, and alliance relationships that expand market reach and strengthen opportunity positioning. Monitor Federal acquisition forecasts, agency priorities, budget trends, and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities. Lead early opportunity engagement efforts, including customer outreach, market research, account planning, and opportunity qualification. Collaborate with Capture, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, Proposal Operations, and Executive Leadership to develop customer-focused growth strategies. Represent IDEMIA at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and networking events. Maintain and communicate accurate pipeline forecasts, business development activities, and market intelligence to leadership. Support strategic planning efforts by providing insight into customer needs, market trends, competitive positioning, and partnership opportunities. Serve as a trusted advisor internally and externally on Federal market dynamics, identity solutions, biometrics, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Government, Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Federal business development, capture, sales, or growth leadership.
  • Demonstrated success identifying, pursuing, and growing Federal business opportunities.
  • Established relationships within Federal agencies, industry partners, systems integrators, and relevant contracting communities.
  • Experience developing and managing strategic partnerships, teaming relationships, and partner ecosystems.
  • Working knowledge of Federal procurement processes, acquisition vehicles, and opportunity lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with biometrics, identity verification, credentialing, digital identity, border security, public safety, or related technology markets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence both customer and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with capture, proposals, solutions, and product teams to develop winning growth strategies.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting agencies such as DHS, CBP, TSA, FBI, DOJ, State Department, DOD, or related Federal organizations.
  • Experience in the biometric identity, enrollment, credentialing, authentication, or public security sectors.
  • Existing relationships within the Federal identity, biometrics, law enforcement, or homeland security communities.
