Summary/Objectives
The Copy Center Operator is responsible for operating high-volume copiers, printers, and finishing equipment to produce printed materials according to customer specifications. The role includes handling printing requests, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of printed materials. This position requires attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills.
Essential Functions

  • Operate digital copiers, printers, and finishing equipment (e.g., binders, folders, laminators).
  • Review job orders and ensure accuracy of print specifications (e.g., size, color, paper type, quantity).
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs with service technicians when needed.
  • Monitor inventory of paper, toner, and other supplies; order materials as necessary.
  • Handle walk-in and internal requests, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and deadlines.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards and client expectations.
  • Package and distribute completed print jobs to appropriate recipients or departments.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
