With over 300 animals in our hands-on zoo and over 100 activities, Cub Creek Science Camp is not your average summer camp. We have staff and campers from all over the world who all share the same passion for science, nature and animals.
Cub Creek Science Camp is a residential summer camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 17. We are dedicated to providing an unforgettable and unique summer camp experience, but above all else, we strive to help our campers gain self-confidence, discover who they are, and make lasting friendships!

Requirements
Work cooperatively with program directors, and summer staff to ensure the smooth operation of administration and customer service tasks for camp. Assist with entering camp data including camper registrations as well as processing payments. Must be proficient in the use of excel, word, and email programs. Database experience desired.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Assist with answering phones, email, and parent communication to provide excellent customer service to camper families
โ€ข Utilize camps' registration database and excel to enter camper data, and produce required reporting each week as requested by program directors
โ€ข Process financial transactions and maintain receipts for camp purchases
โ€ข Provide emotional and behavioral support to campers as needed by following behavior management techniques as outlined in the staff manual and during training
โ€ข Greet parents and campers professionally and with a smile, using appropriate language
Required Experience and Skills:
โ€ข Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database programs
โ€ข A desire to positively impact the life of a child and willingness to put the needs of campers first
โ€ข Have a passion for science, animals and childhood development
โ€ข Able to effectively communicate ideas, and instructions in a constructive manner
โ€ข Self-motivated and able to work on tasks and assigned goals with minimal supervision
โ€ข Be willing to learn new concepts and skills
โ€ข Able to work in a team and both give and take direction from others
โ€ข Willingness to adhere to camp's code of conduct, rules and policies

Benefits
Starting pay $4000 for 12 week summer. Additional $100 credit in camp store for snacks and supplies. Housing, meals, and laundry included. Weekend work is required, this position requires availability to work on-site 7 days a week for the contract period. 1-hour break provided each day, and 1 scheduled day off each week.
