Title SUMMER SCHOOL Middle School/High School SUBSTITUTE Teacher (INTERNAL & EXTERNAL) Open till filled up to 10 positions available
Description:
The SubstituteSummer School Teacher provides engaging and effective instruction to students in grades 5th-12th grade, following provided lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include managing classroom behavior, delivering prepared lessons in various subjects, monitoring student progress, and ensuring student safety. The substitute teacher must be adaptable, patient, and able to quickly establish rapport with students, while adhering to school policies and procedures. This role is crucial for maintaining continuity of instruction and supporting student learning during the summer program. You will be placed on a call list for summer school to substitute as your schedule permits.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with students and establish a safe and positive classroom environment
  • Follow provided lesson plans effectively and engagingly
  • Facilitate student participation and interaction
  • Supervise students and ensure student safety and well-being
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment
  • Take accurate attendance records

Rate of Pay: $350 per full day / $175 per half day
