Job description

Job Title:        Summer Internship/Temporary                      Wage/Hour Status:  Temporary
Reports to:     Director/Campus Principal                             Pay Grade:                 $18 hourly
Dept./School:  TBD                                                               Date Revised:          April 7, 2025
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This temporary summer internship offers individuals the opportunity to support key departments within the district, including Administration, Curriculum & Instruction, Operations, or Student Services. Temporary workers will assist with a range of tasks, contribute to ongoing projects, and help ensure the smooth operation of district activities during the summer months. This program provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in a public-school setting and contribute to the success of our district. We are seeking reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals who are eager to help make a positive impact on our school community. Positions are available across multiple departments, with specific duties varying based on departmental needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
       Education/Certification 









  • High school diploma or GED      
      Special Knowledge/Skills:  
  •   Excellent interpersonal skills
  •   Good verbal and written communication skills
       Preferred Experience: 
  • None
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:  
  1. Temporary workers will assist with a range of tasks,
  2. Contribute to ongoing projects, and
  3. Help ensure the smooth operation of district activities during the summer months.
  4. Maintain confidentiality.
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: 

Tools/Equipment Used: Industrial size shredder; standard office equipment including computer and peripherals;
Posture: Frequent standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting 

Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; frequent walking, climbing ladders; grasping/squeezing, wrist flexion/extension, and overhead reaching; frequent driving 
Lifting: Heavy lifting and carrying (45 pounds and over) on a daily basis 
Environment: frequent exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust, noise, and vibration; work around moving objects; may work alone; occasional prolonged or irregular hours 


Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress
