Job description

Beacon Solutions Group, a subsidiary of The Bonadio Group, is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager, Team Leader. This person will provide billing services and general revenue cycle services to health care clients including professional, hospital, D&TC, OPWDD, OASAS, nursing home, home health, legal and third party payers. This person will also provide oversight of Beacon staff and client projects, as well as Beacon strategic and operational initiatives. This person may need to have knowledge of provider credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollment processes (Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers) and ensuring adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide revenue cycle support to Beacon clients, team members and firm employees.

  • Manage end-to-end provider credentialing and recredentialing processes for clients, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., CMS, NCQA)

  • Oversee payer enrollment and revalidation processes for government and commercial insurance plans

  • Stay current on regulatory changes and payer requirements impacting credentialing and enrollment

  • Participate in Beacon strategic plan initiatives, leadership activities, marketing/sales duties, and firm responsibilities.

  • Complete duties associated with being an outsourced billing service provider including charge entry, payment posting, claims submission and follow up, coding and auditing.

  • Oversee cash recovery projects. Includes staff supervision, project productivity monitoring and monthly reporting.

  • Conduct diagnostic reviews of revenue cycles to determine opportunities for best practice performance. Prepare written reports.

  • Conduct revenue cycle, billing, and coding training sessions for Beacon clients and team members.

  • Identify opportunities to improve services to individual clients and develop suggestions for adjustment of services as appropriate.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of an associates degree.

  • A minimum of seven years of billing experience in physician, hospital, OASAS, OMH, or nursing home environment.

  • Progressive experience in provider enrollment and credentialing

  • A minimum of three years of supervisory experience

  • Experience supporting large provider populations (physicians + APPs)

  • Strong payerfacing communication and escalation skills

  • Must be willing to travel within New York. Overnight travel occasionally required.

Preferred:

  • Billing certification.

  • Deep working knowledge of: Medicare PECOS & NPPES, NY Medicaid enrollment, Commercial payer enrollment & delegated credentialing, CAQH maintenance

  • Familiarity with ePACES and FISS DDE.

The salary range for this position is between $65,000 to $85,000 and is commensurate with experience.

Hours of Operation:

  • Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

  • Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday

  • We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
