Job description

The Form Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing and dismantling concrete formwork for water and wastewater treatment facilities, lift stations, pump stations, and related infrastructure projects. This position requires the ability to read construction drawings, work safely in active construction environments, and produce quality concrete structures that meet project specifications.

  • Build, install, brace, and strip concrete forms for foundations, walls, slabs, tanks, vaults, and structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and metal forming systems.
  • Install embeds, anchor bolts, waterstops, and other components required for concrete placement.
  • Assist with concrete pours and finishing activities as needed.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with laborers, equipment operators, ironworkers, and concrete crews.
  • Perform general carpentry and construction tasks as assigned.
  • Concrete finisher is a plus

Requirements

  • 2+ years of form carpentry experience, preferably in heavy civil, water, or wastewater construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of concrete forming systems and construction methods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in the Florida summer heat.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites as required.
