The Summer Intern has an opportunity to assist in various projects while learning about many facets of the accounting profession. Spending approximately twelve weeks with the tax teams, the Summer Intern will gain experience under several management styles and working with diverse teams. The Summer Intern will be assigned several tasks and duties including
  • Prepare smaller tax returns
  • Prepare supporting workpapers for large tax returns
  • Analyze broker statements
  • Perform research projects
  • Post General Ledgers
  • Update QuickBooks files
  • Accounting and bookkeeping support
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active student at the University of Houston - Bauer College of Business PPA Program.
  • Completion of junior year
  • GPA of 3.3 or better
