Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Summer Accounting Intern to support our accounting team with daily, weekly, and month-end accounting functions. This position provides hands-on experience in account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, payroll accounting, and general ledger maintenance.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform bank reconciliations for multiple entities and bank accounts.
  • Assist with cash reconciliations and financial reporting activities.
  • Prepare and upload journal entries into NetSuite.
  • Support payroll, bonus, and benefits accounting processes.
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with monthly close procedures and accrual postings.
  • Download and review financial statements and operational reports.
  • Post deposits, intercompany transactions, and other accounting activities.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as assigned.

Position Details:
  • Full-time summer internship (40 hours per week).
  • Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience in a fast-paced healthcare organization.

Requirements
Qualifications:
