Job Title:
SAP SuccessFactors Payroll / Time Tracking Consultant
Job Summary
Next Generation, Inc., an HR Path company, is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Payroll / Time Tracking Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Time Tracking solutions.
This is a hands-on functional consulting role focused on gathering requirements, configuring payroll and time management solutions, supporting testing activities, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring successful delivery of client projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with business stakeholders, HR, payroll, and project teams to deliver effective payroll and workforce time management solutions.
Candidates with consulting experience and strong SuccessFactors Payroll and Time Tracking expertise are highly preferred. This is a fully remote role.
Job Responsibilities
  • Gather and document business requirements related to payroll, time management, attendance, and absence tracking.
  • Configure and support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Time Tracking solutions.
  • Configure work schedules, holiday calendars, time recording profiles, time valuations, and absence types.
  • Support payroll processing requirements including wage types, payroll calculations, retroactivity, and payroll validation.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll and time tracking configuration issues.
  • Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Support data validation, payroll reconciliation, and issue resolution activities.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Assist with integrations between SuccessFactors and third-party payroll, timekeeping, or ERP systems.
  • Create functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test scripts.
  • Provide production support and resolve user-reported issues.
  • Recommend process improvements and SuccessFactors best practices.
  • Support system upgrades, releases, and enhancement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll-related regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and/or Time Tracking.
  • Experience configuring payroll and time management solutions within SuccessFactors.
  • Understanding of payroll, timekeeping, attendance, absence management, and workforce management processes.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions.
  • Experience supporting testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and project deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking certification.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll certification.
  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) or other integration tools.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment.
  • Experience supporting global payroll or multi-country implementations.
  • Knowledge of Employee Central, Time Off, and other SuccessFactors modules.
  • Experience with SAP HCM or S/4HANA integrations.
  • Experience working within Agile project environments.
