Suburban Services Group is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for their Burnt Hills, NY location. The ideal candidate will already have HVAC work experience and be able to perform repair/maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner.

Summary:

Founded in 1980, Suburban Services Group has grown from a small home improvement company into a trusted leader in plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and generator services. Based near Saratoga Springs, we proudly serve thousands of customers with fair, professional, and honest service. Suburban partners with leading HVAC and plumbing companies throughout the United Staes, providing the support and resources of a large national company.


Responsibilities:

  • Service all equipment according to an established service schedule, company standards, and within acceptable time frames; troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site.
  • Perform occasional residential HVAC installations and system replacements as needed.
  • Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns.
  • Document all work completed legibly and accurately according to company policy and submit daily.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships in the field to ensure excellent service and enhance the companyโ€™s image.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including safe driving practices and no mobile device usage while operating vehicles.
  • Apply product knowledge and pursue additional training/education as appropriate.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • EPA โ€“ Universal Certification preferred
  • Valid driverโ€™s license / clean driving record
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • 2-5 years of HVAC Experience

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $25-$32. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
