Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based counseling approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each clientโ€™s unique needs and goals, regularly evaluating and adjusting these plans based on progress reviews.
  • Assist clients in acquiring essential life skills and coping strategies that empower them to manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges effectively.
  • Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment efforts and ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain confidential, accurate, and detailed client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, leveraging electronic health record systems efficiently.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary and develop safety plans for high-risk clients.
  • Involve family members in the therapeutic process when appropriate, utilizing family therapy techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Pure Life, you will work with a diverse population from various backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health issues, substance abuse, trauma, and life transitions. Our center is particularly focused on offering culturally sensitive care tailored to the unique needs of the El Paso community, reflecting its rich cultural heritage and diversity.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor in Texas.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining high-quality care standards.
  • Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, including marginalized communities.
  • Experience in a remote counseling setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
