Job description

Digital Production Technician
Adecco is looking for people with Digital Production Technician skills who will be responsible for various projects for a media client in the Burbank, CA area! This is a temporary assignment.
The Digital Production Technician is responsible for creating and validating high-quality subtitle deliverables, including 3D subtitle formats, placement, timing, conversions, and structural checks. This role sits within the Digital Production team and supports operational integration by participating in cross-training and assisting with select Digital Fulfillment workflows as needed. The technician ensures all localization assets meet client specifications, internal standards, and delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities:

  • Convert subtitle files into required formats according to documented specifications and workflows.

  • Utilize multiple software programs to work with closed captioning and subtitle formats of all languages.

  • Perform subtitle placement, simple to complex conforms, checks on various formats, and quality validations to ensure error-free deliverables.

  • Able to triage known and common subtitle and closed captioning issues as well as more advanced issues and provide detailed feedback or solutions.

  • Revise or update subtitle files as needed for internal or external redelivery.

  • Ensure all files adhere to client technical specifications and internal standards.

  • Follow established SOPs and workflow documentation to maintain accuracy and consistency.

  • Understand ingest and platform pipeline for triage purposes relating to files known as components.

  • Collaborate with Digital Production leadership and team members, escalating issues as necessary.

  • Participate in cross-training to support additional Digital Production workflows (e.g., basic conforms, content prep) as needed.

  • Complete additional duties as assigned to support operational flexibility and workflow continuity.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field is preferred.

  • 3-5 years of Digital Production Technician experience in the entertainment industry.

  • Working knowledge of subtitle formats, digital media standards, with strong QC proficiency.

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new applications quickly.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver error-free work under deadlines.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments.

  • Experience with Tools: Subtitle creation, QC, and proprietary conversion software.

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, EZTitler, MacCaptions, Hybrik, Vantage, and Digital Asset Management systems preferred

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends.

 
Shifts Available:
Shifts are available from Tuesday – Saturday OR Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (schedule may vary/hybrid schedule)

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
