Now Hiring - Preschool Substitute
At The Arc Wayne in Newark, NY we are looking for Relief/Substitute Preschool Classroom Aides for our Roosevelt Children's Center to aide children within the classroom and assist Teacher in daily classroom functions and routines.
Roosevelt Children's Center has a long history of providing extraordinary dedication and expertise guiding healthy development for children birth to five years old in a variety of home, community and center based options.

Substitute Responsibilities:
  • Provides support to children during small and large group activities
  • Aids classroom staff with diapering, toileting and feeding children as well as assisting them with outer clothing at arrival and dismissal times.
  • Aides classroom teacher in the preparation of teaching materials
  • Aids classroom staff with daily room maintenance such as cleaning tables and toys
  • Maintains confidentiality

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Experience with preschoolers preferred.

Hours of Work: Sub/relief as needed hours Monday through Friday, work life balance
