Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA needed.
  • Minimum of 4 + years of progressive audit experience.
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
