What is a Subsea job?

A subsea job involves working with underwater equipment, structures, and technology, primarily in the oil and gas, renewable energy, and marine industries. Professionals in this field design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot subsea systems such as pipelines, wellheads, and production facilities. Roles vary from engineers and technicians to ROV (remotely operated vehicle) operators and divers. These jobs often require specialized training, experience in offshore environments, and knowledge of subsea engineering principles.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in Subsea roles?

Subsea professionals often work in harsh and unpredictable marine environments, dealing with factors such as high pressure, low visibility, and rapidly changing weather conditions.
