Superior Contracting & Maintenance is actively seeking experienced, EPA-certified HVAC technicians to join our contractor network for residential service calls, repairs, and installation projects.

We provide direct work opportunities through established residential and property management partnerships, with no lead fees, subscription costs, or bidding platforms involved.

This role is ideal for independent HVAC professionals looking to add flexible residential maintenance and installation assignments to their existing workload while maintaining control of their schedule.

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is a trusted repair and maintenance company with more than 13 years of industry experience, headquartered near Atlanta, GA.

We support residential clients and property management partners across AL, AZ, GA, FL, NC, OK, SC, TN, and TX, providing services in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, drywall, carpentry, flooring, painting, appliance installation, remediation, make-readies, and general maintenance.

Our goal is simple: dependable service, strong communication, and long-term working relationships with both clients and contractors.

Most technicians complete assignments within their local coverage areas handling residential service requests, maintenance work orders, and installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including split systems, heat pumps, mini-splits, and related equipment
  • Complete first-visit service calls within approved NTE limits
  • Submit estimates for larger repairs or multi-visit work when needed
  • Perform HVAC replacements and installation projects
  • Maintain communication and update work orders through the mobile portal
  • Coordinate with dispatch and provide job progress updates as needed
  • Materials for approved projects are provided by Superior Contracting & Maintenance
Requirements
  • EPA Certification required
  • Active General Liability Insurance required (COI must be provided)
  • Must own HVAC tools and dependable transportation (truck, van, or SUV)
  • Comfortable using mobile portals and digital communication systems
  • Must complete onboarding and portal training before receiving assignments
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must currently reside and operate within the United States
Disqualifiers
  • No active insurance coverage
  • Missing EPA certification
  • Unable to complete onboarding requirements
  • Poor communication or unreliable follow-through
  • No transportation or HVAC tools available
Compensation & Benefits
  • Diagnostic trip pay typically ranges from $65-$85 depending on job type and trade scope
  • Full HVAC installation labor typically ranges from $1,200-$1,800+ depending on project size and location
