Subrogation Claims Adjusters are insurance professionals who investigate and handle claims where an insurance company seeks reimbursement from a third party responsible for loss or damages paid to a policyholder. Their main duties include reviewing claim details, gathering evidence, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with other insurers or legal representatives to recover funds. They play a crucial role in reducing the financial losses of insurance companies by ensuring responsible parties pay for damages. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

How does a subrogation claims adjuster typically collaborate with other departments during the recovery process?

Subrogation Claims Adjusters often work closely with claims, legal, and underwriting teams to pursue recoveries from at-fault parties. They coordinate with claims adjusters to gather documentation and evidence, consult with legal teams when disputes arise, and may provide feedback to underwriting about risk patterns.
