Job description

Serves as a key liaison in supporting Subaru of America (SOA) incentive offerings through our captive motor finance company, Subaru Motors Finance (SMF). Maintains responsibility for the financial modeling of SOA/SMF Low Rate, Lease, and SOA Loyalty programs, as well as for program communications, obtaining approvals and rollout of national and zone programs onto Subarunet. Utilizes software to audit and reconcile SMF subvention bill data with SOA sales data.

Summary:

Serves as a key liaison in supporting Subaru of America (SOA) incentive offerings through our captive motor finance company, Subaru Motors Finance (SMF). Maintains responsibility for the financial modeling of SOA/SMF Low Rate, Lease, and SOA Loyalty programs, as well as for program communications, obtaining approvals and rollout of national and zone programs onto Subarunet. Utilizes software to audit and reconcile SMF subvention bill data with SOA sales data.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Reviews and audits all subvention charges (invoice files) on a timely basis by utilizing available software tools, reconciling data, identifying and resolving disputes, and approving exception requests. Communicates disputes to the finance provider in a timely manner and works with finance provider personnel to resolve disputes.
  • Develops, produces, and distributes cost analysis of monthly Subaru Motors Finance (SMF) and retailer finance programs.
  • Completes and distributes various reports/analysis to management, as well as maintains Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboard reports on SMF and Auto Lease Guide (ALG) data for executive management reporting.
  • Assists department management in review of marketing-related communications of programs to ensure compliance with disclosure requirements.
  • Maintains web information related to incentives.
  • Supports Incentive Data & Operations Manager in maintaining complex Residual Value Reserve models to reflect current industry and vehicle level trends.
  • Responds to ad hoc report requests and database troubleshooting and continuously looks for ways to automate processes.

Required Skills & Abilities: 

  • Ability to function and produce under pressure.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate and work with outside partners and Information Technology professionals. 
  • Ability to utilize creativity and expertise to interpret reporting requirements.

Education/Experience Requirements: BA/BS with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience 

Work Environment

  • Office Location: Camden, NJ apart of the Greater Philadelphia Area (Philly)

  • Hybrid Role: Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)    

Compensation: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - 70,000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on your performance. (Internal Job Grade:P1)
