Bryant & Stratton's Administrative Assistant of Student Services will support the college mission by being the face of the department to all that enter. The individual will maintain contemporary knowledge and skills in the approved fields and will participate in departmental and campus-wide activities as a member of the campus team.
The primary responsibility involves coordination and maintenance of all student academic and immunization records, preparation of reports, and any other responsibilities as required by the Academic team.
Job Functions
• Student Mentor
• Ability to make decisions in accordance with academic policies and procedures. Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to prepare effective correspondence and to maintain office management detail with general supervision of the Academic Office Coordinator.
• Enter semester master schedules as dictated by Registrar
• Assist with maintaining student records
• Aid with the student registration process.
• Attend meetings as scheduled
• Ability to work well and collaborate with other departments as needed to achieve assigned tasks
• Enter and maintain 7/14 day letters
• Process transcripts for both Bryant & Stratton and RBI/Everest students
Other duties as assigned
Resource Management
• Complete all reports by established deadlines.
• Assist graduation coordinator with the annual student graduation ceremony.
• Assist and coordinate awards assembly, student activities, and other special events and promotional activities.
• Create and sustain historical records of all academic and administrative activities for the year.
• Assist with grade processing and keeping records.
• Utilize all resources to assist the Academic Management Team in daily operations.
• Provide back-up assistance to the Reception Desk as needed
Interpersonal Communication
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, faculty, other employees, and the visitors to the Academic Department
• Encourage and motivate students
Qualifications
Education:
Preferred
Associates or better.
Experience:

Proficient in the use of office and computer technology - especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Banner System experience is a plus
Salary:
$45,000-$47,000 ($21.63- $22.60 hourly)
This position is eligible for overtime.
