Job Description Monday to Friday SEN Teaching Assistant is required for a reputable SEN School located in the London Borough of Bromley. This exciting vacancy is to start after the October 2023 half term break. Currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to work in an SEN school in the London Borough of Bromley.

The role will involve working with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including Complex Needs and ASD, Behaviour Complexities, Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities, PMLD and SLD. You will be expected to provide 1:1 support to the students and assist the teacher in delivering lessons. The successful SEN TA Must have experience in a similar position as an SEN TA or SEN Support Worker/ Child Residential Worker/ LSA/ HLTA/ Teaching Assistant/Parent with a child with SEN/ HCA (Healthcare Assistant) Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly Complex Needs and ASD, Behaviour Complexities, Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities, PMLD and SLD Providing 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs Assisting the teacher in delivering lessons and adapting them to meet the needs of the students Managing behaviour and provide support for students with Behaviour Complexities Assisting with personal care and medical needs for students with Physical Disabilities, PMLD and SLD Liaising with parents, carers and other professionals involved in the care of the students Monitoring and record progress of students and report to the teacher Knowledge of and experience in providing 1:1 support A patient and caring attitude towards students Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other professionals If you are passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs and have the relevant experience, we would love to hear from you.
