The internship program at Everstand provides students the opportunity to gain work experience, develop skills, make professional connections, strengthen their resumes, learn more about the field they are pursuing, and assess their interest and abilities. NOTE: Everstand haslocations throughout the Mid-Atlantic, however only certain sites have internship slots open. Youll have an opportunity to note which locations and programs youre interested in on your application.

All Everstand interns complete a general Everstand onboarding process, and then program-specific trainings are assigned based on their internship assignment. Masters-level clinical interns are trained on clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions that are used in their assigned programs.
  3. How will Everstand meet my academic programs internship requirements? Through the intern candidate screening process, Everstand will ask for the internship requirements to ensure that those requirements can be met before the intern is accepted. Once accepted, the intern will be paired with an Everstand internship supervisor who will guide them through their internship experience at Everstand.
  4. Can I complete an internship remotely? All Everstand internships require an in-person commitment. Some programs may offer limited remote hours.
  5. Can Everstand employees complete internships for the programs in which they work? This varies by program and is determined collaboratively between the employees supervisor and their internship supervisor.
  6. Can I become an Everstand employee after my internship? Yes, we encourage interns to apply for open positions and have many Everstand talent who were previously Everstand interns!
