apply today.ResponsibilitiesStudent Advising & Mentorship- Facilitate weekly individual and group advising sessions to support students' academic, personal, and professional goals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance in an experiential learning environment.
- Maintain advising notes and track student progress throughout the program.
Internship Coordination- Support students in securing and maintaining internship placements.
- Conduct internship agreement and closing meetings with students and sponsors.
- Build and maintain relationships with internship sites and community partners.
- Track and document student internship hours and performance.
Program Development & Activities- Plan and facilitate psychoeducational workshops and experiential learning activities.
- Collaborate with program staff to enhance the student experience.
Family & Stakeholder Communication- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians (minimum monthly).
- Document all outreach in the Parent Communication log.
- Provide updates and support to ensure student success.
Documentation & Administrative Support- Maintain student records, including portfolios, evaluations, and program documentation.
- Complete semester evaluations for each student.
- Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and program planning.
What You Bring- Passion for mentoring young adults and supporting personal growth
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with students, families, and community partners
- Experience in education, youth development, or human services
- Creativity and initiative in developing engaging programming
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required (Human Services, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred)
- 1-3 years of related experience working with youth or young adults
- Valid driver's license (Class C or D)
