The Library Page assists branch staff with day-to-day library operations including customer service, circulation and maintenance.

This is a part-time position. The salary for this position is $17.00 per hour for up to a 19-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

  • Shelves books and materials

  • Performs routine clerical duties

  • Assists with branch programs and activities

  • May assist with circulation duties

  • Maintains/organizes shelves

  • Provides assistance to patrons

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or current student

  • Valid working papers (if under 18)

  • Demonstrated literacy skills including reading & alphabetizing

  • Ability to take direction and work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal & external customers

  • Detail oriented

  • Requires ability to bend, lift, reach and stand
