To thrive as a Student Lab Assistant, you need a basic understanding of laboratory procedures, attention to detail, and often enrollment in a relevant academic program such as biology or chemistry. Familiarity with lab equipment, safety protocols, and sometimes experience with data entry software or learning management systems is typically required. Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills help distinguish top performers in this role.
