Position Summary
The position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the First-Year Odyssey program (FYO), the Double Dawgs program, and the Transfer Launch Seminar program (TRLS). This includes the day-to-day management of student workers that perform duties related to FYO, Double Dawgs, and TRLS. The position is responsible for administration of responsibilities related to the Comprehensive Student Learning Record (CLR) and Institutional Competencies (IC). The position also manages the study abroad/field study approval process. The position will be trusted to perform important tasks to support the daily functions of the unit with a great degree of autonomy. The position involves a high-level of attention to detail and provides backfill for curriculum-related responsibilities within the office.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the First-Year Odyssey Seminar Program, including the seminar approval process, the faculty compensation process, and the out of class activity funding process.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Double Dawgs program, including the review of proposals, providing guidance and feedback on proposals to schools and colleges, modifying proposals.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Transfer Launch Seminar program, including the review of proposals, providing guidance and feedback on proposals to schools and colleges, modifying proposals.
  • Represent the Office of the Registrar at recruiting events and summer orientation.
  • Respond to questions about the programs from faculty, staff, students, administrators, and prospective students and their families.
