Position Overview
University of North Texas Dining Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hourly Dining Associate to join the team at UNT Eagle Landing Dining Team.
In this role, you will help create a welcoming dining experience for our residents by assisting with meal service and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. Responsibilities may include setting tables, packaging, prepping, and serving meals, and assisting with other dining needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a passion for providing exceptional service. Previous experience in a dining or hospitality setting is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn)
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing
exceptional service.

Job Duties
  • Assist in preparation of high-quality items each meal service, including daily prepared items.
  • Knowledge of the proper care and use of food service equipment and kitchen utensils, understands health hazards related to food preparation and service, and is aware of necessary precautionary measures, including safety and security protocols relevant to the work performed.
  • Follows standardized processes to minimize turnaround time and ensure a consistent supply of cleaned and sanitized dishes.
  • Assists with additional dining duties as assigned.
