Front Desk & Operations Assistant

Location:ย Cupertino / Los Altos (Occasional support across sites)

Type: Part Time | 20-30 hrs/week (Tuesday-Sunday)

Compensation:ย $18-$25/hour (Based on experience)


Position Summary

Think Academy is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and service-mindedย Front Desk & Operations Assistantย to support daily administrative tasks, front desk services, and basic classroom operations. This role ensures smooth campus functioning by helping with check-ins, material preparation, printing, supplies, and parent communication.It is ideal for someone who enjoys helping families, keeping things organized, and supporting the teaching team in a fast-paced educational environment.


Key Responsibilities
ย Administrative & Operational Support
  • Assist with daily office tasks, including printing, filing, material preparation, and basic data entry.ย 
  • Manage supply organization: monitor inventory, restock classroom materials, and prepare teaching kits.ย 
  • Support logistics such as equipment setup, classroom readiness, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.ย 
  • Help coordinate campus resources during peak times (weekends, special programs, etc.).ย 

ย Front Desk & Customer Service
  • Serve as the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude.ย 
  • Support check-in processes, class reminders, and general parent inquiries.ย 
  • Assist with student gift redemption, merchandise distribution, and prize inventory.ย 
  • Provide basic program information and guide families to the appropriate staff members when needed.ย 

ย Academic & Campus Support
  • Help prepare printed materials, worksheets, and classroom supplies for teachers.ย 
  • Support tracking of attendance, class handouts, and post-class procedures.ย 
  • Assist with weekend programs, camps, competitions, or open-house events with simple on-site tasks (sign-in, materials table, classroom setup).ย 
  • Maintain tidy and welcoming learning spaces across campus.ย 

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills; enjoys working with families and students.ย 
  • Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail.ย 
  • Able to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment.ย 
  • Experience in administrative work, retail, hospitality, or education support is a plus.ย
