Job description

Title: TRIO-EOC Data Assistant

Position Type: Workstudy

College: Community College of Denver

Division: Student Affairs

Department: CCD TRIO EOC

Location: Denver

Salary Range: 19.29/Hour

Job Summary:

The TRIO-EOC Data Assistant provides data support services for the TRIO-Educational Opportunity Center. A federally funded program that assist first-generation and low-income students pursuing higher education. This work-study position supports daily office operations by completing and maintaining computerized tracking/reporting databases and will manage the collection and storage of data (electronic/physical) in accordance with the Department of Education reporting criteria.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to data entry, maintaining and filing physical documents
Organizing TRIO- EOC participant records, retrieving information and preparing mailings.
Auditing files for our Annual Performance Report.
Attention to detail and accuracy when entering data, maintaining records, and preparing documents.

Competencies/KSAs:

Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing welcoming, respectful, and inclusive customer service.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information with discretion.
Dependability, professionalism, and a positive work ethic
Familiarity in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Commitment to supporting the mission of TRIO Programs and serving low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented populations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be enrolled at CCD with at least 6 credit hours
High school diploma
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Must be eligible for work-study.
