The main difference between a Student Career Advisor and a Career Counselor lies in their focus and qualifications. Student Career Advisors primarily work within educational settings to guide students in exploring career options and developing job search skills, often with a bachelor's degree. Career Counselors typically have advanced degrees and provide more in-depth psychological support and career planning. Both roles aim to help individuals achieve career success but differ in scope, credentials, and work environment.
