Position Summary:

$14.00 per hour

Student Assistant roles are part-time jobs for students who may not qualify for Federal Work-Study Aid, allowing them to work around their class schedule. Studentscan gain professional experience working with college employees and community partners.

The tasks are routine and simple, not requiring specialized knowledge or skills. Responsibilities and duties are typically standardized in nature, restricted in scope and well defined. Standard procedures guide work tasks.

Job Duties:

  • Codes, sorts, and routes documents before or after actions by others.
  • Serves as telephone and/or visitor receptionist.
  • Provides answers to general questions.
  • May input and retrieve data from computer terminals.
  • May assist or be responsible for duplicating projects.
  • May provide assistance during student registration.

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of High School and a Current Student at Hillsborough College.
