Job description

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Student Advisor through our partnership with the Brandywine Virtual Academy!

  • OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances!

SUMMARY:

To be the main point of contact for students in the Brandywine Virtual Academy (BVA). This position communicates with students, families, & school district partners to help them understand the program and maneuver through the BVA systems. This position is also responsible for understanding the supports needed for students to be successful in their online learning.

Position Details:

  • Location: Downingtown, PA and remote (hybrid) - this position may work from home 2-5 times per week based on program needs
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM, following the BVA academic calendar year
  • Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
  • Start Date: August 11, 2026

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of web-based programs and apps
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to organizational, system and developmental changes with assistance from supervisor and/or colleagues

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree in education or related field
  • Experience as an instructional assistant or teacher preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting computer- and technology-related issues preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

CREDENTIALING :

  • Education Documentation - diploma OR official transcripts
