Job description

STS Aviation Services is hiring experienced Avionics Technicians in Melbourne, Florida. These positions focus on heavy modification work on commercial and large regional aircraft.
If you have a strong background in aircraft modifications and avionics systems installations, this is your opportunity to work on high-profile projects in a fast-paced MRO environment.
Position Overview
This role requires specialized experience performing aircraft modifications, including but not limited to:
  • WiFi modifications and installations
  • Winglet modifications
  • Aircraft interior modifications
  • Avionics systems modifications and installations

Work will be performed on A220, A320, 737, and ERJ-175 aircraft.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on commercial or large regional aircraft
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license strongly preferred but not required
  • Must possess a complete set of basic hand tools required to perform job duties
  • Must successfully pass a written and hands-on assessment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid and current driver's license required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge
  • Ability to work any shift or schedule as required

Compensation
These positions offer highly competitive pay structured as a piece rate per aircraft. Compensation will vary based on the type of installation or modification performed.
