Job Duties and Responsibilities

Targeting candidates in Texas or the East Coast

The hospitality sector presents fragmented sales channels that require focused lead generation and relationship-building across regional hotel owners, franchisees, and management groups. This role resolves long sales cycles and low event lead conversion by establishing targeted in-person connections at AAHOA national, regional, and local events. The position bridges post-event outreach with CRM tracking to build a consistent sales pipeline, expand brand presence, and achieve regional revenue targets across the territory.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

  • Represent the company at AAHOA national, regional, and town hall events to capture qualified leads and execute sales blitzes
  • Build direct relationships with C-suite executives, general managers, and independent hotel owners to identify operational and procurement needs
  • Design post-event outreach sequences and leverage AI tools to streamline lead nurturing and improve response rates
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all customer touchpoints, activities, and opportunity pipelines to fulfill departmental revenue goals
  • Execute targeting tactics with dealer partner leadership to drive demand and ensure delivery of performance objectives
  • Gather competitive intelligence on industry trends, local demographics, and pricing models to optimize regional market strategy
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring)

  • Critical experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development within commercial or vendor-facing environments
  • Proven ability to negotiate, present, and build long-term trust with business owners and executive leadership
  • AI literacy and practical application skills to automate administrative workflows, draft outreach communications, and analyze pipeline metrics
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities to evaluate market needs and implement structured territory growth plans
  • Deep understanding of hospitality operations, procurement frameworks, and owner/franchisee ecosystem dynamics
  • High self-direction and decision-making capacity to manage regional travel schedules and prioritize key accounts

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality technology, vendor services, or franchise operations
  • Proven experience building relationships within the hospitality sector, specifically with independent hotel owners, franchisees, and trade groups (e.g., AAHOA).
  • Established network of relationships within the telecom, cable/satellite, or hospitality sectors

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum Experience: 1–3 years of related B2B sales or business development experience
  • Required Technical Skills & Credentials:
    • Proficiency in CRM tracking software and Google Suite applications
    • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
    • Ability to travel up to 40–50% regionally for events and conferences
