National Network Services (NNS) is seeking a skilled Data Cabling Technician I. This role is an entry-level position responsible for completing assigned installation tasks while maintaining NNS standards for safety, quality, and productivity. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow a career in structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, eager to learn, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

General Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening if required
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
  • Comfortable working in ceilings, crawl spaces, and construction environments

What You'll Do
  • Assist with the installation of structured cabling systems in commercial environments
  • Pull, route, and dress copper and fiber optic cabling
  • Terminate and test CAT5e, CAT6, and other low-voltage cabling systems
  • Follow project plans, safety requirements, and installation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, lead technicians, and project managers
  • Learn industry standards, installation techniques, and best practices
  • Properly use and maintain hand tools and installation equipment
  • Complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and accurately
