Structural Steel Fitter – Day Shift - Calgary, AB

PTW is a trusted industrial and commercial contractor in Calgary, specializing in high-quality welding and fabrication.

We're always looking for skilled Structural Steel Fitters to join our team. As a Canadian leader in customized self-frame, rigid frame, and pre-engineered building solutions, we continue to grow and are building a pipeline of talented people for current and upcoming opportunities.

Role Summary:
We are currently hiring Structural Steel Fitters for full-time positions in our steel fabrication shop in Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret engineering drawings and plan efficient material selection and cutting sequences
• Prepare, lay out, and detail heavy metal components to specification
• Set up and operate metalworking equipment, including torches, grinders, drills, and punches
• Fit, torch cut, assemble, and install fabricated components to final stage
• Safely rig and move materials while maintaining organized, compliant work areas

Qualifications / Requirements:
• 1+ years commercial/industrial experience
• Welding courses and Interprovincial Trade Certification (Red Seal) considered assets
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
