Job Description
Minimum 5+ years of experience in aerostructure analysis, including composite analysis
Strong knowledge of primary and secondary aircraft structures and load behaviors
Perform stress analysis for composite and metallic structures including:
General strength and stiffness analysis
Buckling and stability
Fastener and joint strength
Composite sandwich and thermoset panels
Damage tolerance (open-hole strength, compression-after-impact)
Experience with structural design concepts such as wingbox, load paths, and interfaces
Finite Element Analysis using Nastran/Patran, Simcenter 3D (model creation, modification, post-processing)
Preparation of stress reports, reserve factor summaries, and certification documents
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guide junior engineers
Risk identification, mitigation planning, and technical problem resolution
Support qualification, compliance, and customer technical reviews
