Job description

We're looking for a Social Media Specialist with 3+ years of professional experience managing social media accounts - this is not an entry-level role. You'll own content strategy and execution across a portfolio of client accounts, so we need someone who's a genuine self-starter: comfortable juggling multiple clients, driving your own priorities, and catching issues before they become problems.
Responsibilities
  • Develop content ideas, hooks, scripts, and creative briefs aligned to each client's goals, audience, and business objectives
  • Research platform trends, competitors, and high-performing content to identify new opportunities
  • Maintain content calendars and stay far enough ahead that future content is always in development before current content publishes
  • Manage scheduling and publishing across multiple client accounts, serving as the final quality checkpoint before anything goes live
  • Own community management for client accounts - responding to comments and messages in a timely, on-brand manner, and flagging anything that needs client input or escalation
  • Review captions, thumbnails, hashtags, metadata, and formatting to maintain a consistently high bar
  • Maintain brand voice, messaging, and platform best practices across every account
  • Monitor content performance and translate analytics into concrete recommendations for future content and production
  • Identify content gaps and long-term opportunities to improve account performance
  • Communicate proactively on timelines, priorities, and roadblocks across clients and internal teams

Who we are
At GO Media, we specialize in driving growth for leading practices in orthodontics, aesthetics, and wellness. You'll be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation, creative excellence, and client success.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience managing social media accounts, ideally across multiple clients or brands
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Deep knowledge of social media scheduling and publishing platforms (e.g., Rella, Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite, Buffer), with the ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently within one
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills; able to self-manage across competing deadlines
  • Proficient with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate ideation, streamline content workflows, and boost day-to-day efficiency
  • Strong copywriting skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Basic photo/video shooting and editing skills
  • Experience within a creative agency or marketing team and in paid media is a plus
