Included in the S&P 500 Index, CoStar Group is on a mission to digitize the world's real estate, empowering all people to discover properties, insights and connections that improve their businesses and lives.

We continue that effort today and are always working to improve and drive innovation. This is how we deliver for our customers, our employees, and investors. By equipping the brightest minds with the best resources available, we provide an invaluable edge in real estate.
What We Are Looking For:

In this role, you'll own and improve the platforms that support hundreds of internal users across editorial, research, and content teams. You'll partner closely with engineering, journalists, editors, and stakeholders across brands to streamline publishing workflows, improve platform usability, and help scale our content infrastructure for future growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career product manager who enjoys solving operational and workflow challenges, collaborating cross-functionally, and building systems that support high-impact user experiences behind the scenes.
This role helps power the infrastructure behind content experiences used across CoStar Group's portfolio of brands and international markets. You'll play a key role in improving how content teams operate at scale while gaining hands-on experience in platform product management, stakeholder collaboration, and workflow optimization within a fast-moving product organization.
This position is located in Richmond, VA OR Arlington, VA and is in office Monday through Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Platform Operations & Product Execution

  • Help manage and prioritize platform enhancements, bugs, and operational issues
  • Write product requirements, organize backlog items, and support feature delivery through implementation and QA
  • Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities to improve publishing efficiency and user experience
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support ongoing platform enhancements

Workflow & Platform Optimization
  • Improve and standardize editorial workflows across brands and teams
  • Support taxonomy and content organization initiatives to ensure scalable, consistent publishing structures
  • Identify recurring pain points and propose process or tooling improvements
  • Help support international expansion efforts, including localization and multi-market publishing readiness

User Enablement & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as a product partner for journalists, editors, researchers, and content teams
  • Gather feedback, understand user needs, and translate workflows into product recommendations
  • Create documentation, training materials, and self-service resources
  • Facilitate training sessions and office hours to support platform adoption and best practices

Strategic Initiatives
  • Support larger platform initiatives and evaluations, including CMS and publishing workflow improvements
  • Contribute research, stakeholder feedback, and operational analysis to help inform product strategy and long-term platform decisions

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person, University or College.
  • 1-3 years of experience in product management, digital operations, CMS platforms, content tools, or related cross-functional environments
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, editorial, and business stakeholders
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn complex systems and workflows
  • Ability to think systematically and identify opportunities to improve processes at scale
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CMS platforms, publishing tools, or workflow management systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile product development processes is a plus

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
Working at CoStar Group means you'll enjoy a culture of collaboration and innovation that attracts the best and brightest across a broad range of disciplines.
In addition to generous compensation and performance-based incentives, you'll be supported in both your professional and academic growth with internal training, and tuition reimbursement.
