Job description

Job Description BAE Systems is hiring a Program Manager to support the Solvent Value Stream in our Ordnance Systems Business (OSI) in Radford VA. The Program Manager will coordinate with operations to help drive schedules, monitor cost, aid in proposal preparation and approval, interface with the customer, develop internal business plans, and present business status to leadership. Responsibilities:
* Align with Program Management Office (PMO) to drive Life Cycle Management (LCM) processes into production where they add the most value.
* Work with stakeholders (Ops, SCM, Finance, etc.) to ensure production schedule is maximizing available resources and our business plan.
* Manage production schedule available for Pricing new business, internal financial forecasts, headcount forecasts, etc.
* Work with all Functional leaders to ensure proper resource allocation/ support.
* Along with Operations, develop detailed metrics and shop floor goals that will meet IBP/QBR forecasts.
* Responsible for Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management processes for RFAAP production/PWS.
* Interface between Operations and Finance to support QBR / IBP forecasts as well as EACs where applicable.
* Establish and track business related KPIs and metrics
* Support Firm or Follow-on contracts for existing products / services.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure pricing provided is meeting business expectations.
* Support RBA process for existing products, firm, follow-on, etc.
* Ensure proposed work fits in available production schedule.
* Support development of BOE, along with Operations and Price Estimating.
* Work with SD/Engineering to develop long range plans to meet business growth goals.
* Coordinate with R&D team to ensure proper business case for new product development efforts. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of work experience or equivalent experience
* Experience in Program Management, Program Controls, or Lifecycle Management (LCM)
* Experience in People/Cross-functional Leadership
* Experience in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects concurrently
* Experience in presenting work output to all levels of management
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments
* Ability to drive a collaborative, team-oriented environment to support and drive process improvement
* Ability to monitor performance through KPis and Metrics and identify risks and opportunities
* Ability to own assignments and be fully accountable for their success
* Ability to effectively influence cross-functional teams
* Ability to build relationships with customers and instill confidence in business capabilities
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Strong planning and organizational skills

Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
