Job Summary/Description:
Are you a newsroom leader who lives for the story-and the conversation that follows? We're looking for the next Good Morning Arizona News Anchor and Streaming Host who doesn't just read the news but owns it across every platform. You're someone who is constantly engaged in the news cycle, ready to pivot from a traditional newscast to a deep-dive streaming show where the format is conversational, credible, and genuinely connected to our community. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
What You'll Do:
• Anchor and Host with Authority: Deliver live newscasts and host daily streaming shows in a style that is conversational, authoritative, and genuine.
• Lead the Deep Dive: Host a daily streaming program that takes a "deeper dive" into the issues that matter most to our community, moving beyond the headlines into meaningful conversation.
• Own the Field and Studio: Report with urgency and empathy from both the studio and the field, bringing stories to life wherever they happen.
• Drive the Editorial Engine: Act as a newsroom leader by consistently attending editorial meetings, pitching story ideas, and collaborating closely with Producers and Managers.
• Craft In-Depth Content: Produce promotable, high-impact content regularly, including hard news stories, features, and mini-documentaries.
• Expand the Conversation: Engage audiences through live Q&A segments on all digital platforms, making our news a two-way street.
• Build Community Connections: Represent the station at community events and maintain a deep network of local sources to stay ahead of the curve.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Five years of general on-air news reporting experience. Journalistic skills, editorial judgment with knowledge of editing and photography skills, or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communications preferred
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, meet deadlines, work well as a team and independently. Exceptional communication skills and excellent knowledge of current events.
