Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in driving process optimization, performance analytics, and strategic business improvements within a corporate environment.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist with the development and execution of business improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support data analysis efforts to identify trends and opportunities for operational enhancements.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to refine reporting structures and streamline workflows.
  • Conduct research on industry best practices and contribute to process innovation initiatives.
  • Assist in performance tracking, project evaluations, and documentation of business improvement strategies.
  • Help facilitate cross-functional collaboration to implement productivity solutions.
  • Support compliance with corporate policies and business excellence frameworks.
  • Participate in strategic planning discussions and provide insights based on collected data.
  • Learn key principles of operational excellence and contribute to team-driven initiatives.

Education Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in projects.
  • Experience with data analysis tools or workflow optimization (preferred but not required).

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
  • Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long periods of time, up to 12 hours per day.
  • Sitting. Working from a seated position for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Climbing. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms one to two times per day.
  • Balancing. Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow or slippery surfaces.
  • Stooping. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
  • Kneeling. Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
  • Crouching. Bending the body downward and forward by bending legs and spine.
  • Reaching. Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
  • Pushing. Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force, exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force consistently to move objects forward, downward or outward.
  • Pulling. Using upper extremities to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force consistently to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
  • Lifting. Raising objects up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 15 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds consistently from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.

Intern pay is non-negotiable and is calculated based on current academic class standing $18/hour (Freshman) - $21/hour (Senior), etc.
