Overview

Brightstar Lottery is seeking a Product Manager - Retail Applications & Platform Strategy to lead the evolution of our retail application ecosystem. This role is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for our OpenRetail application framework, TouchPoint Manager (Terminal Management System), and supporting platform solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the next generation of retail technology by driving application modernization, enhancing user experiences, and helping define the future architecture that will support retailers, players, and operational teams worldwide.

What You'll Do

As Product Manager, you will serve as the product owner for our retail application framework and platform solutions, partnering closely with engineering, UX/UI, architecture, operations, and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for OpenRetail, TouchPoint Manager, and platform solutions.
  • Drive application modernization initiatives focused on usability, performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Gather and prioritize business, customer, retailer, and market requirements.
  • Partner with UX and design teams to create intuitive, user-centric experiences across retail applications and devices.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering new features, enhancements, and platform improvements.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities, including release planning, sustaining engineering, compliance, security, and operational readiness.
  • Analyze performance, adoption, reliability, and service metrics to guide product decisions.
  • Support go-to-market activities by providing product expertise to commercial and sales engineering teams.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for platform investments and modernization efforts.

This role will play a critical part in a major transformation initiative focused on creating Brightstar Lottery's next-generation retail ecosystem.

You will help define and deliver:

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience supporting application platforms, retail technology, POS solutions, or complex software/system integration environments
  • Experience working with platform architectures, application frameworks, or distributed systems
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design methodologies
  • Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, design, operations, and business teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Experience translating customer and market needs into actionable product roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within retail POS ecosystems or retail technology platforms
  • Exposure to modern application architecture, modular design, or microservices

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $102,591.00 - $157,833.00. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
