Job description

Description:

Hybrid Onsite Every Other Week in Smithfield, RI

As an Innovation Strategy Analyst, you work upstream of product development to shape high-impact opportunities. You partner closely with client-facing teams and internal stakeholders to identify, define, and prioritize use cases, content needs, and feature opportunities. In this role, you lead structured discovery efforts, translating complex and often ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable inputs that inform product direction. You operate at the intersection of business, marketing, and product focusing on problem framing, opportunity identification, and prioritization rather than detailed requirements or delivery execution. You are energized by working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoy bringing clarity, structure, and alignment to complex challenges. You will collaborate across Product, Technology, and client-facing teams to bridge business needs and product execution for our client.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

  • Lead discovery sessions with client-facing teams to identify and define high-value use cases.

  • Translate inputs into structured artifacts, including use cases, process flows, and opportunity summaries.
  • Identify required content sources, dependencies, and key inputs to support use cases.
  • Define high-level feature and capability needs, including prioritization of critical versus iterative enhancements.
  • Assess and articulate business impact through directional value and tradeoff analysis.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders by framing problems, opportunities, and recommended paths forward.
  • Support prioritization by synthesizing business need, value, and feasibility considerations.
  • Create and maintain standardized frameworks to scale discovery and prioritization efforts.
  • Develop clear materials to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product teams to transition work from discovery into execution.
Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, consulting, or product-related roles.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams in marketing, product, and client-facing organizations.
  • Strong facilitation skills to lead working sessions and engage subject matter experts.

  • Experience documenting business needs and processes at a high level.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess tradeoffs and prioritize.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into actionable inputs for product teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with concise materials.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
