POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Engagement Manager is a senior owner of client work and a builder of new proposals, pitches, and experiences. This role leads delivery while also helping turn early ideas, leads, or conversations into clear concepts, proposals, and engagements.

We work with senior leaders at some of the most complex and recognizable organizations in the world—global consumer brands, Fortune 10 companies, healthcare systems, universities, and public-sector institutions. Our work includes defining go-to-market strategies for new offerings, designing operating models that execute, and running executive immersion experiences with CEOs, CMOs, and senior operators.

This is hands-on work. We build with leaders, pressure-test ideas, and move decisions into action.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Delivery and Leadership

o   Lead strategy engagements focused on where to play, how to win, and key tradeoffs

o   Shape value propositions, differentiation strategies, and business models

o   Translate strategy into operating models: decision rights, governance, interaction models

o   Design and facilitate executive working sessions that drive real decisions

o   Build activation plans with metrics, ownership, and execution rhythm

Business Development and Proposal Leadership

o   Take a concept or lead and turn it into a sharp, credible proposal

o   Own proposal development: framing, approach, scope, and value

o   Partner with senior leaders to refine positioning and pricing logic

o   Lead early client conversations and help convert ideas into work

Immersions and Offering Development (Optional but Encouraged)

o   Help design executive immersion experience events

o   Contribute to megatrend research and insight synthesis

o   Support go-to-market strategy for new offerings

o   Participate in and help run executive immersions with Fortune 100 C-Suite

EXPERIENCE AND PROFILE

o    6–10+ years in consulting, strategy, or transformation roles

SALARY:

Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including individual skill set, experience, specific office location, and qualifications. For positions located in New York City only, the range of starting pay for this role is: $115-215k
