Wonderful Strategy Group (WSG) is a team of ~20 strategy professionals committed to delivering high-impact results for the businesses that make up The Wonderful Company portfolio of brands including FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios and Almonds, JUSTIN Wines, Teleflora, Wonderful Citrus, and more.
As an Associate Manager, Strategy you will collaborate with business leaders to tackle their business' most pressing challenges and drive critical initiatives. You will work on projects across multiple operating companies over time, with opportunities to build deep partnerships and deliver measurable impact.
WSG is a team of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experience in consulting, agriculture, commercialization, operations, and finance. The team works closely with business leaders to develop growth strategies, enhance operational and technological efficiencies, and foster the long-term health of their organizations. We also regularly partner with Marketing, Brand, Insights, and other functions to grow demand for our products and drive commercial growth. Your role will build robust and enduring partnerships with business leaders and C-level executives to help drive the future of The Wonderful Company.
We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday. Our office is located at 11444 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064.
Job Description
  • Lead independent, end-to-end delivery of a project or multiple workstreams, including workplans, timelines, and executive-ready deliverables.
  • Structure ambiguous problems, conduct analysis, and synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Develop executive-ready storylines and materials (e.g., slide decks, pre-reads) and present findings to business partners and WSG leaders.
  • Define success metrics/KPIs upfront and track impact through implementation; ensure solutions are sustainable and effectively adopted and transitioned to appropriate business owners.
  • Collaborate across functions and groups (e.g., Insights, Marketing, Operations) to drive growth and reduce waste
  • Contribute to WSG committees and capability-building.

Travel Required: Occasional travel (up to 20% of the time) to operating locations as needed. May vary by project.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, operations, agriculture, CPG, finance, or related fields
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage end-to-end delivery of a project or multiple workstreams (workplans, timelines, deliverables)
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to navigate ambiguity and translate data into actionable insights
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude with a track record of taking initiative, anticipating risks, and driving work to closure
  • Demonstrable executive presence and strong stakeholder management skills with comfort interacting independently with senior business partners and cross-functional teams
  • Leadership potential with experience coaching/mentoring others and contributing to team culture and capability-building
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including developing executive-ready storylines and presentations and supporting analyses
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required (typically day trips up to ~20% of the time)

Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
