Position Details: Full-time, including rotating Saturdays

FLSA: Exempt, Officer First/Mid-Level Officials and Managers

Salary: Negotiable based on level of experience between $63,000.00 – $80,000.00

The Merrimack is seeking a Branch & Business Development Manager to lead our main branch in ConcordNew Hampshire. This role is ideal for an experienced branch banking professional who thrives in a leadership role that blends team development, business development, customer service, lending support, operational oversight, and community engagement.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead branch performance, daily operations, customer experience, and growth initiatives
  • Coach, motivate, and develop branch team members while fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Build strong customer relationships through needs-based conversations, referrals, and relationship-driven service
  • Represent the bank in the community through business development, local involvement, and partnership-building
  • Support consumer, equity, and small business lending needs while maintaining strong product and service knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, security standards, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in branch sales, strategic planning, budgeting, and goal achievement
  • Partner with HR on hiring, performance management, employee development, and related employment matters
  • Open and close the branch on a rotating basis and support additional branch needs as requested


What We’re Looking For

  • Three to five years of related banking, branch operations, sales, business development, or leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience with a proven ability to coach and develop others
