Strategic Advisor - Contractor

Contractor - 1099 AZ, US

POSITION PURPOSE

Adobe Population Health is seeking an experienced Strategic Advisor (Independent Contractor) to serve as a trusted executive advisor and market development partner responsible for expanding the organization's relationships with health plans, managed care organizations (MCOs), Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), provider groups, and other strategic healthcare stakeholders.

This highly visible consulting role is designed for accomplished healthcare executives with deep payer relationships and a proven track record of helping organizations successfully enter new markets, build executiveโ€‘level partnerships, and secure valueโ€‘based care and population health contracts.

The Strategic Advisor serves as an extension of Adobe Population Health's executive leadership and Business Development teams by leveraging established industry relationships, identifying growth opportunities, providing market intelligence, and facilitating executive introductions that accelerate business development efforts.

Rather than owning the traditional sales process, this role focuses on opening doors, cultivating relationships, advising leadership on market positioning, and helping Adobe Population Health expand its footprint across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, Dual Eligible, and Valueโ€‘Based Care markets.

This is an independent contractor (1099) position engaged on a project, territory, payer, or strategic initiative basis. Compensation is milestoneโ€‘based and aligns with meaningful business development outcomes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development
  • Identify and cultivate strategic growth opportunities with national, regional, and local health plans, managed care organizations, provider organizations, and healthcare partners.
  • Leverage executiveโ€‘level relationships to facilitate introductions to key decisionโ€‘makers, including CEOs, Presidents, Chief Medical Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Provider Network Executives, Population Health Leaders, and Contracting Executives.
  • Generate qualified business development opportunities that align with Adobe Population Health's strategic priorities.
  • Assist executive leadership in identifying new markets, service opportunities, and payer partnerships.
  • Support expansion into new geographic markets and lines of business.
  • Advise leadership regarding competitive positioning, market trends, and emerging healthcare opportunities.
Executive Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive leaders throughout the healthcare industry.
  • Represent Adobe Population Health professionally during executive meetings, conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor during highโ€‘level strategic discussions.
  • Assist with stakeholder mapping and identification of key decisionโ€‘makers within target organizations.

  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding managed care, population health, and healthcare operations.
  • Offer recommendations to improve organizational positioning within target markets.
Business Development Support
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Clinical Leadership, and Executive teams throughout the sales process.
  • Assist with opportunity qualification.
  • Support executive presentations and customer meetings.
  • Participate in strategic proposal discussions when requested.
  • Help develop relationship strategies for priority accounts.
  • Attend executive meetings, conferences, and client presentations as appropriate.
Internal Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with Executive Leadership, Business Development, Operations, Clinical Services, Finance, and Legal.
  • Ensure opportunities are properly documented within the organization's CRM.
  • Provide regular updates regarding relationship activity and business development progress.
  • Assist leadership in prioritizing strategic opportunities.
  • Participate in internal strategy meetings as requested.
Professional Representation
  • Represent Adobe Population Health with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Ten (10)+ years of executive leadership experience within healthcare, managed care, population health, or valueโ€‘based care.
  • Demonstrated success developing strategic partnerships with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, or Integrated Health Plans.
  • Established executive relationships within health plans, managed care organizations, provider organizations, health systems, or healthcare consulting firms.
